'Get a Real Job' nominated for another award!

I live in a world in which I can plan to spend a couple of weeks in early spring playing music on the islands of the west coast of Canada, laughing and drinking with Carolyn Mark and Geoff Berner and Ford Pier, eating candied salmon, looking for marine mammals from the ferry. I am humbled in my joy. Check out the gigs page for B.C. tour dates with Dave Lang (and a few with Tolan Mcneil!).
And we are getting very close to finishing a long overdue Crack Band recording. Peter Moller, our drummer, has been working like a mad man on the final mixes, and the songs sound fantastic. Check out our www.myspace/kdcrackband for samples of 'Soul Food' and 'Double Down'.
And, 'Get a Real Job', my article for Unlimited Magazine last year, has been nominated for a West Coast Magazine Award in the arts and culture category. If I win, I'm buying a very large tray of bedding out plants.
